Design Embroidery History

Design Embroidery was started by Virginia in 1999. She had been a stay-at-home but her kids were getting older and she was looking for something to spend her time on. A family friend introduced her to the world of commercial embroidery. She leased a small two-head machine and set-up shop in the garage of her Nampa home. After learning the basics and picking up work wherever she could she landed her first big client from a referral from church.  From there, word of her excellent customer service and quality work spread and she was able to partner with a promotional company Boise.

With the increase in business she upgraded from a two-head to a six-head machine. Around the same time she moved to Boise, still operating out of her garage.

In 2013, she purchased her home in Boise and set-up her shop. In order to keep up the demand she decided it was time to add another six-head machine. Adding another machine required her to recruit her daughter, Stacy, to help with the operations. Stacy had been working for a different embroidery company for the previous ten years.

You can now find Virginia, Stacy, and Zero working in the shop. Virginia and Stacy have a combined 40 years of experience in the wholesale embroidery business. They can help answer in questions or concerns you may have.
